We breathe unconsciously all day every day, but how often do we pay attention to our breath? Take a deep breath and tap into this powerful tool for self-care. These 45 minute sessions use breathing, meditation, and simple yoga poses for a gift of self-care. Reset and restore while learning tools to manage everyday stress. Catch your breath and connect with your best Self - when you own your breath, no one can steal your peace.

​In normal times on the best of days, there is stress working in a hospital. And in everyday life we can’t always control outcomes. The pandemic brings this lack of control to another level. There’s sadness, frustration, anger, and fear because this invisible lethal thing is controlling our lives – its dictating how we go about our professional and personal lives and affecting how we socialize, our calendar, and our economy.

Explore coping techniques based in yoga with RN and C-IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist, Krista Vaughan. Practice staying PRESENT, CARING, CONNECTED, and KIND and we navigate this global pandemic.

Back for a second year, Chestnut Hill Hospital welcomes Krista Vaughan, BSN, RN, RYT-500 Yoga Educator to the annual Wellness Day to present "A Breath of Self-Care". Fifteen minutes sessions throughout the day will focus on tapping into the breath for self-care. Come catch your breath - when you own your breath, no one can steal your peace!

Yoga Aromatherapy

​An evening of Aroma Yoga®!  A yin-yasa chakra exploration enhanced by essential oils.  Special guest Young Living oil guru Katy O'Gara will be on hand to answer any oily questions.  The 60-minute practice will be followed by light refreshments and the spa will be open for a soak.  Bring a yoga mat, beach towel, and swim suit.

​An energetic and thoughtful outdoor Sun Salutation sequence ending with a toast to sunshine and warmer weather!  Bring a mat, a beach towel or blanket to place between your mat and the grass, and be dressed to move and build some heat.  Light refreshments will be served following the practice.
